China denied accusations of being behind cyber attacks

After being accused by an American security firm to be engaged in cyber attack against several American organization, corporations, and government agencies, Beijing denied the accusations and said that the allegations were destructive. The spokesman for China’s Ministry of National Defense, Geng Yansheng, said “Chinese military forces have never supported any hacking activities,” and added that China had been victim of cyber attacks from U.S. A lot of military analysts said that major cyber attacks have been traced to the P.L.A. (People’s Liberation Army) and its Shanghai Unit 61398 recognized to be engaged in network security.
