The Minds of Billy Milligan is based on a true story. Billy Milligan is a suspect who makes serious crime in theUnited States, but gets a judgment of not guilty at the end. The reason is that he splits personalities. In fact, he has 24 different personalities in his mind, and these personalities have different gender, nationalities, age, and intelligence quotient. No one knows how this inconceivable thing could happen, but it just happened. However, Billy might be a smart fraud that cheats on the whole society. No matter which personality is true, they are all belonging to misfortunes.
